Valletta has ushered in the New Year with an exceptional show including a 10-minute fireworks display, British pop singer John Newman, The Palace String Orchestra and some of the best Maltese singers who kept company to the thousands of Maltese people who watched the live show on television.
The Valletta National New Year’s Eve celebrations are supported by a Partnership Agreement for Large-Scale Events and Initiatives provided by the Valletta Cultural Agency within the Ministry for National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government.
